A New Cup of MOCA

Welcome to the new online presence for MOCA.

After months of development, The Mark E. Ting Company has finally rolled out the much anticipated "New Cup of MOCA."  M.O.C.A.  is an acronym for Montgomery’s Online Community for African Americans.   Keeping inline with the meaning of MOCA,  Mark and Company have truly turned the site into a community communication tool.

While the print version continues to be a voice and force in the River Region, the online version is now poised to partivpate in enriching the conversations.  Visitors can join MOCA for free to comment on news, stories and articles.  Another great service is "What’s Next"  featuring a calendar of events for the River Region.

The brainchild of Perry D. Varner of Varner Enterprises LLC, MOCA is part of a 10 year stint of entreprenurial success.  Varner’s company specializes in Public Relations, Marketing, Design and Promotions of luxury & lifestyle products and events that enhance the African-American experience.  MOCA serves as the goto placer for business and lifestyle of African Americans in the River Region.

In 2007, MOCA joined forces with blackal.com to become part of The Black AL Network.  The Black AL Network is the number one place online for comprehensive news, information current events pertinent to African American, covering the entire state of Alabamians.
